We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more 
perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,
provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, 
and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,
do ordain and establish this Constitution for the 
United States of America. 

"WE THE PEOPLE"

In  our Country's capital
is a document enshrined,
a certificate of birth to a nation,
Founding Fathers all have signed.

The first words, "We The people",
at this time,  ring anew,
so does "E Pluribus Unum",
"In God We Trust", hold true. 

It declares equality and freedom ,
from tyrants long ago.
Through the years we've  been tested,
yet America went on to grow.

Then on September, 11th,
in the year 2001,
Our complacency was shattered,
a new war has begun.

A war from lurking shadows,
an enemy never seen,
strike out violently against us,
whenever they so deem.

Are we now a Nation in fear,
since everything has changed.
Are we now at the mercy of those,
so twisted and derranged?

We are in a different battle now,
an extremely different war.
Not since our independence,
has an enemy reached our shore.

Although we've unleashed our mighty forces,
to exact  a vengeful toll,
can we expect them to erase the terror,
that has gripped our  very soul?

There are some wars,
that armies just can't fight,
to keep our country strong,
our children safe in the night.

So again! WE THE PEOPLE
must do everything we can,
because now we are ALL soldiers,
and our country we defend!!!
